We still have to book timed tickets to visit some places. Found somewhere for today when looking on Tuesday (inevitably a castle) but by the time I filled in the form the last spot had gone so that is now booked for 2 weeks. Next week we have a day trip booked for somewhere further north but today we are taking the low road to somewhere. Given the hot sunny weather recently today, at the moment, is of course dull and misty. Hopefully it will burn off and be able to get some scenic photos to share. Despite restrictions being lifted and wanting to have a break away from home we are still not comfortable with staying in a hotel yet.

Yesterday we found a seemingly lifeless bird in our lavender. Turns out he was just weak. After giving him some water he gains some strength and after half an hour he was able to fly again. We named this little one Francis
