Wife, dog and me on evening walk today, a bit chilly but gorgeous:
Travel down to my Mum tomorrow with a halfway stop. Will be the first time in a hotel for about 3 years! Plus I feel like crap. Feels like I have a temp but LFT was -ve and haven't spoken to or been out since Monday so maybe just the "excitement" of seeing my mum. On top of that had to nip to Aldi for a couple of things my mum wanted. At the till, kid in front says "there is an old man behind us" 
Kid then looks at me again. Considering I had a mask on, I gave it my best death stare. Must have been a 9.5/10 as he immediately ran towards the exit. It wasn't actually crying so I lost 0.5.

So off to my mum today and stopping about half way down. We only have a few things to do there. One is cutting a few twigs (see photo 
), painting her front door step and having a look at her kitchen door that doesn't close properly. Fixing that will mean taking it off and planing the bottom but that door has never been taken off since the house was built in the '50s!! Then got the "some of the other doors too"... Already looking forward to coming home.
Have a couple of days out pencilled in. One to the tank museum and possibly Duxford. Might do some famous pile of rocks on the way to the tank museum.

These are now coming out here too.Spring flowers are on full swing here. its time for pretty flowers and lots of work to get it ready for Spring. Our peach flowered and is still folding against weak frost jere amd there, go peach! Ill photograph others when its warmer outside, plants might be ok with plus two, but this cock aint
