That looks good to me! More sucessful than I have ever been trying to capture lightning. I usually set up the camera, press start and all the action happens out of frame!

Just ordered a 12m length of copper pipe. That should help - what could possibly go wrong?

Being old and falling apart has some advantages. This was how close to the entrance we got to to park! Normally this would be covered in the temporary stands for the Military Tattoo. Currently visitors are limited to 1,500 a day but at others times they get 10,000 a day.

Did go to the model shop on my own afterwards and was very good, just got a couple of kits and a few paints. Currently doing a 1/144 B-52 which is still a reasonable size and the Mrs said why did you get a small scale one. The 1/72 scales ones are obviously a bit more expensive but are also the size of a coffee table! Probably cost the same price in paint as the kit would!

Perhaps you should go outside?
In the open, near a tree... would be lovely shot.
Actually (but not suprisingly) I'm even more stupid than that. I waited for the storm on our roof to be above streetlights that are on the other side, which is the side the storm came from. :D But the roof and the chimney were ruining my shot, so I climbed to the roof top, next to the lightning rod. There I fortunately realized that it is probably not the best idea and came down :D

Boobs r us lol
Lovely light this morning. Warm but foggy so you can see all this spiderwebs on the fields.

That looks really nice.

Wife: We should plant more bee flowers. I bought some bee flower bomb things that you just chuck around the garden to get something like that above. Me: why have you not used them? Wife: looks untidy Me: 🤬

Also me when lawn has grown about 1mm and she starts muttering about the grass being too long 🤬
