Yesterday we found a seemingly lifeless bird in our lavender. Turns out he was just weak. After giving him some water he gains some strength and after half an hour he was able to fly again. We named this little one Francis

One year ago from yesterday it was when we found and rescued Francis in our lavender. We just found this photo. He seemed so happy! (Even though the open mouth might be a sign of stress as far as I know)
Off to Edinburgh again this afternoon but enough time to get the lawn done and enjoy a coffee outside. Need earplugs as the wailing banshee next door is "singing".
