Thanks. I have had similar things on a PC where I have had to reset the BIOS but that was so long ago I didn't think about it. Lesson learned is always start at the beginning.

Installing Windows 10 from the USB took about 15 minutes but had it been a USB 3 port suspect it would have been quicker. I am guessing the laptop is about 20 years old yet it really struggles with playing YouTube and the internet connection is 25/25 when we get 350/36 on most other devices. Even the Ethernet connection is slow. Need to have a proper play with it. Works OK with ProCon so should be useful for that.
