Warning: horror spider mishap IRL below….











Went to our shed this morning to fetch some tools for some light garden chores, was eager to start so opened the door and entered in a hurry. Hadn’t been there for some days…. Unsuspecting face was greeted with huge spider web (think covid mask over nose and eyes) and ”something with small legs” crawling around very fast around nose and then towards right eye. Quickly tried to get rid of said creature but fingers got caught in sticky web and causing tiny monster to run around eye like a maniac in the eye area. Heroically stayed quiet the whole time and finally got rid of the little bastard via undignified waving like an oiled windmill. Managed to get a unsharp pic of the fella:

Visited the Wereldhavendagen at Rotterdam this weekend, below some pictures quickly made with my phone. Majority of pictures will probably come from my camera but will require some time xp

We had about a week of rain and it was grew about 4cm in some places! We have spent a fair bit of time trying to remove the moss from it and it does look quite nice. Still quite a bit of weeds and clover in there but not too bad. has taken a couple of years. Front lawn is OK but a bit patchy and needs some reseeding but not much moss. Drainage at the front is quite good so when we had the couple of hot days it did suffer.

Seems to be a lot of activity in the air around here at the moment with quite a bit of RAF activity. The Apache was too low and quick to get a photo.
