Is Someone Still Playing Bf2?

Never really played BF2 multiplayer. Having played and really enjoyed some PS1 games that have been remastered it makes you wonder why something like BF2 hasn't had a similar treatment. The cost of giving maps a makeover and using something like the BF4 engine would be small compared to starting from scratch. It is also the people who played that game and still want to play it who would buy and support it.

how brilliant this game was and even more the gameplay. playing a ingame commander with powerfull assets was also brilliant.

Never really played BF2 because I hadn't found the NRU server at that time. Great game play with graphics that were adequate. BF3 and 4 have graphics that are again fine for the games. Since then they have gone for looks over playability. A bit like a trophy wife, nice to look at but not great if you want a conversation!
