After a hot and dry summer, our garden survived. For me, late summer is a nicest time for it. Strong grown garden flourishing, plants growing as much as they can before autumn drops. It's is rewarding and calming to see them grow. Some pics form the morning. IMG 20220912 083034 a nice sunny view from the terrace already decorated with autumn things IMG 20220912 083045 our lawn needs a trimm and cleaning, but it held well on summer heat.
IMG 20220912 083057 the pond was refilled by water many times because of drouth, but fishes flourish, and shade loving plants hold their corner.
IMG 20220912 083118 the baby oranges turned out to be baby limes 😄but they are delicious and wellcome addition to our citrus collection.
IMG 20220912 083128 during the summer we got another baby lime and now it's already pushing strong.
IMG 20220912 083149 lemons just cant stop, this tree is very giving on its fruits and will continue a year around, we just love him.
IMG 20220912 083211 with fall, fall jobs come to be done, wood has been cut and all it takes now is to put it all under a roof in neat rows. This year we did 11 meters, from cutting to delivery to this. Plenty work but also nice fire wood.
IMG 20220912 083233 apples are coming around. Some sorts are already finished, while these are one of the latest ones for us.
IMG 20220912 083322 remember baby Acers? Well here they are. Fifty percent o them remain and going strong preping for winter.
IMG 20220912 083329 some other babies have joined us and are waiting to be planted. IMG 20220912 083348 also new place for our existing baby plants has bee established for warm summer days. IMG 20220912 083358 our garden is owergrown with two cherry tomato plants taking over most of the place. It was decided next year we go with only one.
IMG 20220912 083420 fig tree is growing fast and strong, giving first propper fruit this season, was really delish.
IMG 20220912 083429 our king, the cedar is just amazing this season stretching wide and growing as fast as it can. And our lady of the garden is getting a proper pillar to rest on.
IMG 20220912 083447 hoicheras are also enjoying their place and going strong.
IMG 20220912 083451 and our latest addition is the little crawler for our well to decorate it. This crawler have beautifull red leaves in autumn making it really colorful experience.
There's plenty more to do, and lots of work to be done, but the process is a reward in itself. Hope everyone has a calm and nice day <3

oh, you have a trompetenbaum ( trumpet / zigar / beantree ) or wtf is called there lol i like them too but no place for that atm and also we have not the best clima for this.
nice garden you have. (y)
yes i always forget the name, and im always told the name when we talk about that tree. Here its borderline but it can succeed in microclimate places that dont go below like minus ten or something like that. They are pretty and give good shade, but are pretty brittle so wind snaps the branches more easily than other trees.
Thank you. We are really proud of it. it really helps to wind down after long days

Never had any luck with growing tomatoes. Strawberry and raspberry plants are doing well though. There is an ongoing battle between us, the birds, squirrels etc. as to who gets them first! When compared to shop bought fruit though they are 100x better. So much more flavour in ours.
