This picture (though obviously fake - the signs and cars are wrong for Scotland) illustrates what the weather feels like up here. Being on top of a hill we would need a lot of rain to flood but the amount of rain we have had over the last few weeks has been incredible plus daylight is only 08:30 to about 15:00 because of such heavy cloud.
