Hopefully, next year and those after it will be safer and that we can see that peace is possible. For many, Christmas obviously has a religious meaning but my family still use it to celebrate and reflect on the past year and to look forward to the next one. Where I used to work, though a Scottish company it was also multicultural, multi-nationality, and multi-religious yet Christmas was a time when you and your colleagues could share gifts and enjoy meals together as a team. Diverse people can work and live together, hopefully in the future that religions and nations will also be able to do that.
