Made some honeycomb for the first time. Actually tastes OK but it did lose the bubbles as it cooled and went a bit flat. Not sure why so will need to have another go!

Video does include some gratuitous slo-mo of syrup being poured and some time lapse too.

Great video, Glen, thank you.

In Germany there is no sweet treat like your honeycomb but it looks very delicious.
Do you also dust it with powdered sugar /serve it with vanilla sauce or is that a culinary ‘no-go’?

...oh, by the way, the slo-mo of the syrup being poured is simply amazing :)

It can be used many ways. The Crunchie bar in shops here is honeycomb covered in chocolate.

My honeycomb cooled but list the bubbles and went a bit flat. However, it can be broken up and added to ice cream but I had made some creme brûlée and ground some up and used it as a topping instead of the blow torched sugar.

I might try and make some truffles with it in.

Lol. Not all carbs. You forgot the 60g of healthy butter and 2 tsp of bicarbonate of soda.

I've covered it in chocolate and will be sending it to my mum!

It is like most thing not really unhealthy if you only have a small piece.

Currently making a vegetable stock which is really healthy (100% veg and water). :)
