For a start another 4GB ram would be a good start
i personally hate vista but works far better on 8GB
plus updates are a pain up the arse for slowing things down even on a decent gaming machine.
Defrag your drive ???
Use CCleaner and it can make a lot of difference to pc and internet browser (This is free)
I use PCTools Registry cleaner as well and it does make a big difference, this program does alot more than the obvious..... (This cost about £20 i think for 1 user 3pc's)

Ok so ive got you spending a little money
But in the words of ASDA (Wallmart) every little helps :D

your connection problem i can not help you because i'm a shit about the problem of computer ,: ( .
by cons i want to help the girl ...;)

Andy thanks for advise.......iv'd look around internet like your program PCTools, i found tuneup utillities 2012
think this the same as your
There's a booster in it that turns off all background prog's wich you don't need for gaming and gives all stuff what da game need
further it has a lot of things to check ur computer.......now see or i have the same problem with connectionprobs while gaming..

Nao thanks for trying help ....And LAKA u pervert.........

Use CCleaner

Couple words of warning here: It can for example delete your System recovery points etc important stuff if you dont know what you are doing, so be careful...

i know Heik........but i give it a tri and see what happends..if it sucks than i go to a clean install inclusively VISTA SP2 and after that i turn off
auto updates for the future

Laka thanks...but i will tri that when i get a new laptop......never had this prob before only the last two weeks

this morning ive'd tried bf2 again , but still no changes as regards the connection issues. What I now noticed, that it happened if there is a new player to the arrival.

i start game....jumped in and i go some walk, than connection problem
than i put tab button and i see a new player loading hes still in grey colour so i can walk again, than connection prob while playersname turning in blue
The new player is in game,so i keep walking and no probs, than the problem again while a new player is coming........

i dont understand this.....it sucks and cant play..
All my restore points are deleted, so is there a way to throw ALL my updates away for bring back sp1 and sp2 so i dont have to a whole clean install

Lol i feel Vista of my old computer was more reliable than that all time bitching Win 8 of new computer. :p

Prooi: Try that restarting of router and keep some time eye on your internet connection too. If it's fault of shitty operator you dont need reinstall everything for nothing. :p

Try seeing if you're losing packets and try a traceroute to our servers and post the results

i did 81.19.208.28 than i put trace........below my result

looks not bad for me. no clue why you have the connection problem. can you try a other channel on your wlan? possibly the one you use is a bit overlaying from other signals.

then I'll try that next time is, if I here the speed test from my provider do http://www.upc.nl/internet/snel_internet/speedtest/dan rocks he indeed ..... high low high low
im using the wide channel and not the 20mhz....is it better to use 20mhz

THANKS FOR UR HELP.....
