I have been using CCleaner for years now, first the free version and then upgraded to CCleanerPro (£19.95 year) to try for a year !
Its great for uninstalling progs and registry clean ups the easy way, more features with Pro, like driver update, health checks, getting rid of cookies and junk.
When the year was up they took another £19.95 subscription. I phoned them up and told them I had not agreed to the payment and they said it was for the subscription. I told them I had got Pro to try for a year and found that when a new graphics driver was released, probably the most important driver, 2-3days later and ccleaner hadn't picked it up
and I had to do it manually so I wanted to unsubscribe. They apologized and refunded me the amount. BUT they never switched off the Pro, to this day I still have it and get all the updates all for free. I do like it and use it
