CAD software

Anyone have any recommendations for CAD software that would be good for a beginner? Would just like to try some basic shapes to create storage boxes, maybe progressing to a T-800 later on. Preference would be for a PC based application rather than web based.

Had a look at Fusion, Blender and Tinkercad but still a bit confused as to which one would be worth investing some time with.
