Wow.. I have the first gen in desktop gaming rig and it's kickass. Best cpu ever.love it.

Mobile gtx680 ?!?!! Powerful card. Very good.

How much ddr3 mem you got ? 8, 12, 16? Anything 6-8 or more is all needed.

I tought is was 12 gig mem ddr3 1600mhz an expasion to 16 would cost me a littlebit but is not needed i supose

think with the i7 gtx680 and ssd that would be soooooooo quick

ow i got a i3 with a shared mem graphic but it works its like 4 years old and runned every day for like 4 hours so

new one is needed haha

yes i would like a desktop but ... I live in switserland with my girlfriend in germany an familly in holland sow i travel alot than lappy comes with me !!! Lol

12Gb is more than fine. When you get bf3 get the premium so you have all expansion but beware the net needs to be fast cos the updates are huge.
A powerful laptop is very handy for travel and lan games. You got a good mouse for it? I would recommend logitech, steelseries or saitek r.a.t.
