Dear visitor or member of the NRU forums,

In order for us to be able to process your complaint or ban appeal we will need as much information as possible!

Required for complaint or ban appeal:

- Which game? BF2, BFBC2, BF3 or other.
  • What is your in-game alias/name?
  • What reason was stated with the ban/kick?
  • Who was the banning admin?
  • Why you think the ban should be lifted

Optional but handy for speeding up the appeal process:

- When was the ban issued/when did you first notice?
  • Was there another admin on the server? Can you remember who?
  • What other relevant games do you play, and what other aliases do you use?

Once you post your ban appeal or complaint it may take some time before you get a response.
The normal way we handle an appeal is this:

- Appeal gets posted by you.
  • When a head admin or the banning admin reads the appeal he or she will confirm that your appeal or complaint was received.
  • The head admin will check on the ban/complaint to see what is going on.
  • Normally we wait with a verdict till the banning admin has responded (this can take up to 48 hours).
  • Depending on the situation and the explanation of you and the banning admin he can request the ban to be lifted or maintained.
  • The head admins make the final decision based on the information from you and the banning admin.
  • If its an automated ban the head admins make a decision.

We understand that its not fun to be banned but staying polite and being as clear as possible will help speed up the process!
We can not do anything about bans issued by EA, Punkbuster or PBbans even if they originate on our servers!
We will only process ban appeals or complaints made by the player who has been banned and not on someone’s behalf.
