They have wings and they flap them! We use geese/goose as a generic term for a flying bird. As in " Oh, look there are a few geese in the garden" when it is actually a few goldfinches, sparrows, and a blackbird.

We do get loads of geese of all types flying over in the spring and autumn as they migrate. Seem to use the flat and marshy areas by the Forth river as an overnight stop.

I saw this too and did make me wonder. I think the answer is yes it is real. If it had been fake then I would think it would be more obviously similar to something.

Father-in-law had a chicken called Henrietta. Never produced an egg and was really just a pet.

Another exciting day. We now have his and her vaccine appointments and the new flour storage (food grade 30l) tub arrived. What a life.

Was just going to mention it in chat but feel it was worth mentioning somewhere a little bit more static. Played a few rounds this afternoon and not had that much fun in a long time. Not sure what caused the magic, maybe having a lot of us playing, maybe most people following the rules, maybe the maps, maybe the balancer not being an arse and rounds being reasonably close.. Whatever it was, it was just a lot of fun. Thank you all for distracting from reality for a short while.

Good to hear. Especially in the difficult times right now I'm happy to hear your able to find some distraction by playing around in battlefield.

Things could be a lot worse, a bit like this loaf I baked. Was a bread machine sourdough hybrid experiment that looks awful but doesn't taste too bad.
