And that is the reason why. This little pig. Lol
But lovely weather today. Cold but sunny.

We actually bought some Guinness the other day as we hadn't had any for ages. When I used to do beer testing and tastiing, Guinness was a sod to test. It was the sweetest and most bitter of them all. We also had to test head decay - there is an industry standard test for that - which we never bothered to do it, would probably still be waiting for it to finish!

I had a tour on the Bavaria brewery with my shool. (To show the labs)

And there where indeed a tasting / tasting boot. They used to taste it, and test the foam decay just like you said. Sound like a fun job to me.

Can you tell me more about it ? Im interested :)

Draught Guinness is the best, hate nearly all beer/stout/ale etc except Guinness 😂
Guinness has such a nice balance in flavours. And I really love the smooth texture it has. But I'm starting to like extra dark strong beers alot at the moment. Kanon from grolsch. It's a heavy one with 11.1% and real heavy taste.

Alto I found my self enjoying red merlot reserva and tempranilo alot.

The first time I tried draught Guinness I hated it, then I tried it again in Ireland and loved it. Been drinking it ever since but then again I hate the bottled stuff 🤷‍♂️

- 7 ° this Night. But amazing light.

Nice pics (y). It may sounds stupid but it's always great to see how cold temperature and snow can magnify landscapes or things that are not extraordinary in normal times but are because of it (the cold weather), especially on nature things.

Really nice pics and views. Would much rather have cold and clear like that than the utterly miserable misty raining weather we have had for the last week.

No snow as was forecast but it isn't a good day. Currently grief counselling the wife as her iPad had died. Looks like a completely dead battery. Been trying to prise it out of hr hands so I can do a full backup and restore it onto a spare one we have. Have tried all the usual trick but there are no signs of life yet so a trip to the Apple store may be required.

Yes defribbing it didn't work. Apparently the games she cannot get access to are life threatening (my life apparently as it seems to be my life!)

Today a short walk into the "Wildgehege Remstecken" just 30 minutes away.

Nice pics. Did you pick one for Christmas dinner?

Went to the Apple shop. Wife decides to go for a wander whilst I am in there. Ipad battery was faulty so got a new replacement iPad (or will when they have it in stock) despite it being a year out of guarantee.

Pic below is Edinburgh's Prince's Street. Pointy thing is Scott Monument and the castle is the dark bit behind it.
