Rheinland-Pfalz Yes, they used here a lot to clear up some muddy naturereservates where you can not use Maschines to clear some high growing plants.

Nice start in to the day. Short dogwalk to Burg Pyrmont just 5mins aways from home. But already 25°

We have those too. Goldfinch to us. One of my favourite birds in the garden, not just because of the colours but also their songs. We do get a load of those and have had over 60 at one time. Most of the bird shite we get on the car is starling shite. I really don't like them and there is enough of them that the sparrowhawk can get plenty.
