The link is to a ships log from the doctor on board in 1827. It is quite hard to read (even harder I suspect if English isn’t your first language).

Some highlights are the bloke who stabbed his own penis when mucking around. The bloke who had been (luckily) drunk for three days and fell 20 foot /7m to the main deck. The person who had a fever and was discovered to have boobs and penis - probably not transgender at that time.

Another: A 27-year-old officer of the marines Stephen Waite: ‘one of those handsome dull Subjects, so frequently promoted on account of the beauty of their persons, with little regard to Intellect or ability of any Kind’. That unfortunately sounds like a lot of people who get promoted but usually to get them out of the way.

The list of those suffering from STDs is quite long too. :eek:
