Didn't the Romanov children survive the initial shots because they had diamonds and jewels sewn into and hidden in their clothes?
For most things tend to use metric when measuring and weighing or convert to metric when using recipes. Wish we would go full metric but maybe need to wait until we rejoin the EU.
Shame they didn't fully embrace the metric clock when that was first tried.
