I may have posted this before, Intel has a function on their support website which automatically scans your drivers and lists available updates - pretty good IMO: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support

Or in Intel's on words: The IntelĀ® Driver Update Utility keeps your system up-to-date. It detects which driver updates are relevant to your computer, and then helps you install them quickly and easily
 
You seem to be very excited about this... why?
Intel and microsoft are not quite known for their 'awesome' updates which tend to make things worse every now and then.
I'd say if you're a beginning user (on the pc), you shouldnt mess alot with it, it'll sort itself.
If you're an average user, this subject still shouldn't really bother you
And if you're an 'expert' user you will probably already know which updates to install and which not.
