I have had a Sapido mobile router for ages now but it seems to not work now. Doesn't like any of my current SIM cards. Apart from being battery operated it was useful to have as a mobile hotspot for travel plus you could plug it into an ethernet cable and it would work that way. Hotels used to charge (and still do) for crappy WiFi but ethernet was usually free. We have hot spots on our phones but too often we are finding that there is no signal on one of the networks we have. We have an iPad Mini that we can use as a third hot spot but the age of that thing means it really doesn't work that well and is quite bulky.
Have started looking but was just wondering if anyone had one they could recommend as the prices seem to be around the £50 mark and then jump to £200+. Had thought about a cheap mobile phone but don't really want yet another phone even if it was just for data.
