Just a few pics from our Yellowstone and Midwest trip. Was a little trigger happy whilst there taking just 7 short of 4,000 pictures! Travelled through Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and South Dakota (only 25 states to go!). Hope you don't get too bored with these.

Should have puts some captions with them!

Pic one - lunch (really nice as a burger or steak)
Pics 2-3 Mineral deposits from hot springs that have built up over time
Pic 8 Devils Rock - weird formation held sacred by local native American
Pics 6, 7, 9, and 10 - we were probably on the menu!
Pic 11 - Ellesworth AFB museum. B1s were flying in and out of the base.
Pic 12 - Badlands National Park

Great pics Glenn.I haven't been out to those states in a long time.I love that area a lot. Let me know when u had to Maine.I know where u can get one of the best lobster rolls its where us locals go to eat.

Will do! We had originally planned and booked New Orleans and Mobile as we've not been to the southern states but just after pressing book wife changed her mind! We had always wanted to go to Yellowstone and decided to just go. Then worked our way across to Rapid City. Have to admit Mount Rushmore was a bit of a disappointment. $11 to park for the gift shop and no I've made a mistake and don't want to pay that exit (had to reverse out much to my wife's embarrassment).

Not really states for the vegetarian though. I was alright and had ribs, steak, ribs, steak, ribs and steak... but wife lost about 5lb (2.5kg) in the two weeks (she's the vegetarian in case you were wondering).

Still love the way you can go into Walmart and they have quite an array of "seen in Battlefield" weapons on sale.

The only thing that really puzzles me about Americans is why can't they use a knife and fork properly?

True it is just one big volcano. It is overdue for an eruption too - apparently. Bryce canyon is still my fav place in the USA. Been there about six or seven times.
