Laka has got a new toy.........Does it come with an artillery add on ? :nurse:

Cool little MAV for spotting of enemies around garden. :)

Have to admit that I am still looking to build a quadcopter. For holiday videos and other stuff they look to be really fun and laka's great videos show why. They are much more than toys.

Here are some upgrade options. (Have a look at the Russian guy's AA12 video! - reasonable chance the drone video is fake but still "fun")

i am still enthusiastic about this thing. ok, i would not pay so much money for that stuff but i stink it still a decent piece of tecnology.

the quadcopter has a 16mp cam onboard with a 2ax gimbal so its working not bad. all i have to learn how to fly this thing. lol but to my savety and to the savety of my neighbors it has also GPS and autohoovering on board. so it can´t really crash. also it has autohome so it can land by themself to the point it started from.

Definitely want to build one. That looks like a nice piece of kit and the image is pretty stable. Has a bit of Shake which I suspect is due to the wind at the height it was flying. I think it would be good for holiday or days out.

Or you could stay in and send the drone out sightseeing and bring the footage back.

Ive got a question; Is it against the law to operate a drone while under the influence of alcohol ? :nurse:

Nothing specific about being drunk-in-charge of a drone but I'm sure they could make something up!

lol the first point would be against the law, at last in germany, you are only allowed to operate with a drone if you are in direct line of sight with the drone. however it would be possible to sit at my sunchair and operate the drone from there because you can put the mobile with the app on the remote and see where you flying around.

with the acohol....good question lol i don´t know.

Using these things is basically common sense and practicing. Obviously, there are some people who don't have any common sense and they are the ones who muck it up for everyone else. How easy is it to get spares for the drone? You absolutely know that you will need them! :D

Drone lessons:
1: Stand about 3m away and behind the craft. Take off and practice hovering at about 1.5m
2: Once happy with hovering start walking the craft. Move the craft forward at the same pace you are walking.
3. Circle of death! Stand still and fly the craft around you (whilst you rotate) keeping it pointing away from you.

Master that and you are done! Also beware of the ground effect as the craft lands - just before it touches down the down ward air from the props will cause turbulence and can make for a bumpy landing. Just go slightly forward as you touch down to avoid this.

as far as we sell this stuff now i have a list with all spares here. :D beside that the drone is just a speciman for us to try how it works.

lesson one is easy because the drone doing this from alone. loool just leave all sticks and joysticks and it keep staying at the same point. point 2 and 3 need some more practice. :)

I read that as $59.00! Then looked and it is £48,000!!!!! Have seen that video and it looks really good. I would be tempted by a ready made one like yours but I quite like the idea of building one too. I know the home build is cheaper but that is not the reason, would just like to have the fun of building it and learning about how it works.

Pretty useful, These Little drones.... LOL
