big brain comment, also what does this guy think? Why would a govt to make us wear masks like some world leader is sitting behind us desk telling how funny it is that he made everyone wear mask ?
Talking about face masks... Is there a point of wearing the face mask while having a beard? I accidentaly made a little test today. We are renewing the basement, taking down old walls, which is very dirty and dusty as you can imagine. This mask has kn95 norm, which should protect you at least from the dust. So here is the result after about 2 hours.
Dirty marks inside of the mask right at the place where i exhale from the nose says it all. Should I wear a gas mask then , or shave myself ?

If you are concerned about inhaling too much dust/dirt, then you might want to look into alternatives. However I think the amount of dirt/dust in the air when taking down a wall can't really be compared to the amount of aerosols you would be exposed to when riding the train for example. So I wouldn't worry too much.

I use one of those type of masks when sanding wood or an airbrush with lacquer paints in the garage that has doors front and back to give decent airflow. For work like that though I woul£ probably go for a proper respirator especially in a more confined space like that. That would enable a tighter seal even with facial hair. May depend on the quantity of beard too. If it is '70s pornstar look then one of those masks may be OK, if it is more hipster then something more substantial is needed, full caveman may need some scissor work! 
Well I'm not concerned about it. It was just a small test about what I heard/read. This house is from around 1920 - 1930. The basement walls are dry enough only to the point where they meet the ground. The lower part of the wall is acually wet and not really making much of dust. This mask was brand new. The problem is not even that the mask does not really fit the bearded face and you can feel that you still kinda breathe around it, but also : After a couple of minutes of breathing with the mask, there is a warm and wet microclimate between the mask and your face, which is good for many kinds of bacteria and viruses that can remain in your facial hair.
Sure.. it depends on how much of facial hair do you have, on the mask, the enviroment etc. Talking about covid, much of how you should protect yourself has been said. And I do it. But even if you do 100% of it, sh't can happen, so I really don't rely on the masks I wear anyway.

We are totally paranoid about quarantining stuff that comes in the post and also clean the letterbox, door bell and so on. Impossible to be 100% unless everyone else is as careful but unfortunately too many others dgaf especially when we go shopping. So of the I would just like to taser when they get too close.
Such is life. Never now when driving the car wether you hit the next pillar because your tier deflates.
I think 80% is pretty good, when in theory a covid patient only infects 4 people and i meet 100 in the supermarket. I take the 80% less risk as well as the astrazeneca vaccine which I will not get until earliest september which lowers for another 70%.
