No wolves last night but first thing this morning this "crept" by the car and then was mms from the stairs and decking. So much for a relaxing day.

This is a lesser spotted caterpillar which is not uncommon in wooded areas or forests but it has a larger bigger cousin the JCB which is more intimidating, these little creatures /insects should not be approached other wise death could ensue with nasty pointy teeth. There partial to eating trees and dirt in large quantities and have been seen with the odd person inside them :ROFLMAO:

Nice picture by the way, And hope your having a great time (y)

Visited the Garden of the Gods today. Heard a plane going over and thought Gunship! In the other photo you can see the Garden of the Gods and in the background Pikes Peak (of the hillclimb fame). We had originally planned to drive up Pikes Peak but time got away from us. Quiet day tomorrow before flying home. Image Image

As far as I can tell that is a MC-130 gunship!

Storms due south of us today. Been weird, had some rain when driving but been in t-shirt an shorts all the time. Still hate the Jeep, you never feel safe going around a corner, any corner!

A final few pictures of the New York skyline and on approach to Newark and from the airport across to Manhatton. Journey home wasn't too bad with both flights being an hour quicker than expected. At Denver airport we walked to the gate only to be then informed that it had changed - to one the other end of the terminal. Then at Newark the arrival gate and next flight gate couldn't have been further apart if they had tried! Walked about 4.5 miles in total (and with about 12kg of camera gear that was more than enough for me)!

Nice to be back home though.

Will post a link to Flickr once I have sorted them all out.
