Caterpillar on our nettles

We always let grow some nettles at the hedge so the butterfly can use them to put there eggs on them. After some says you can see the little caterpillar munchin the nettle. Very interesting to see how fast they growing and how many they can eat in that time.

Till last year i tried to rip off all the nettles, till i read how importent they are for our nature, specially for the butterflies. Now they can still grow in some edges and the butterfly caterpillars can eat them.

they are welcome lol because this is the first time we have this caterpillars , i am curious if this also means we will have / see more butterflies in the garden. we will see.

I would expect you will see them. We get about five types of bee in our garden but not that many butterflies. Would like a wild area as we have a space at the side of the house but the Mrs is too OCD about a blade of grass being too long to cope with a wild area.
