+1 for that tool Pixie its pretty ace... theres a bf3 version too. Its very handy to modify key bindings without having to go 'ingame' onto a server
This was suggested on a different thread a few weeks back and I agree it is worth using.
I would also try this which I found online, since doing this I have had one game crash (though there could obviously be other reasons for that but I have to think this has helped a wee bit):
Go to the BF4 folder in .\origin games\Battlefield 4\ Open ._Installer\directx\redist Right click on DXSETUP.exe and click "Run as Administrator" What this does is install the DirectX libraries that were copied to your hard drive but never installed that are needed for DirectX to properly process the game code.
