i had it for 2 days but its seemed to clear itself up now mate,im 22ish on a normal night but it went as hih as 55ish for 2 days.

Mine comes and goes with hitregs too, something I will never sort out I feel ?? crazy game and can be reeeaaaally frustrating.. maybe time for a hard disk format and reload ?

Some say editing Usersettings.con in C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Settings can improve your lag/hitreg, DICE say it doesn't do anything and it's just a placebo, who knows

Ok I am running out of solutions, my BF2 has still massive lag and I mean massive, cant really play with such a lag...
I made a new Win7 setup on the PC today, checked the Hardware with a monitor Programm, all temps are good. I made several internet speedtest, always the same good results. (Speed over 15000, Ping around 27). Only thing I noticed is that my Ping ingame goes up and down from 30 to 120.
Any further ideas what could cause the lag??

If you mean, connection lose to the server with the error Packet loss, then No, dont get any "kicks"..
what internet provider do you have ? is it always or only sometimes ?
many german "Deutsche Telekom" guys (me included) seem to have the porblem that the routing to GB doesnt really work at prime times (i thought the telekom fixed it)
if i make a traceroute to our server at prime time i get 120 pings and then i get a normal 30 ping
you also see there that i get a lot of packet loss at frankfurt ! dont know why that is ...

yes, have the same problems like steffos for some weeks now. beside the "meantime" the ping is normal but in the afternoon everyone is on my ping in bf4 goes up from 34 ( normal ) to around 80-100.
so this sucks.
try this if you got the problem again and i am sure you find some bottlenecks in your way.

Everything worked well the last two years, had no lag ingame and always a ping around 30 on our server. And then something must have changed what caused that lag and now since some month its not really possible to play because of the lag.
