we stream to pbbans so ( all ) of this hacks should be detected and player get banned. so this should not be such a big issue anymore.

you can see all our pbbans ( bf2 and bf3 ) here:
http://account.pbbans.com/account-my-bans.html

Problem is that theres hacks that for some reason are'nt detected.....which is very clear playing certain players who's been 'riding' the game for too long. Remember theres people who 'program direct'. Dunno how to explain it but you do via notepad for example.

Then theres fellowships (yea i get in trouble for this one) another problem but i aint a snitch (but as said before mathematics/stats dont lie)

we have to be realistic in that case. we can only try our best and running the best anticheat mechanism but they are and there will be ever cheater play. at the end the anticheat site can only react at new cheats and so they are always a step behind the cheaters.

its a shame but thats the point.

I think these sort of videos are quite useful for when you are admining. They show the type of things that may make a player suspicious but remain undetected by the various systems. If they are used in a subtle way they may go undetected it tends to be the 150-0 players that are obvious. The players I find suspicious are the ones that are get you as you appear around a corner each and every time. I know that there are sound clues that are helpful and I've used these too but if folk are able to "see" through walls and objects and are ready for you when you appear you don't stand a chance. I've also been on a round where I was able to be found no matter where I was. It got to the point where I was in the water on canals (not an obvious location) and was still found and killed the player couldn't explain how he knew where to look each time.

well tbh there's hackers everywhere now and its part of gaming im afraid. bf4 beta has been out a day and there's hacks for it already, 25% of players in bf3 hack in some way, so it isn't ever going to go away. The hack sites make a lot of money out of it and people are only to willing to pay for them. Its sad that people have to cheat to make them look good.

oh, i think you see this way to dark mate.
sure we have to live with the hackers around but that 25% are hackers in some way is way to high. that would mean every 4th player is a hacker. my opinion would be that around 1-3% of the player out there are hackers.

and to be fair. just in bf3 we have a lot of nice anti-hacker tool running so we can found a lot of hacker and sort them out. not at least all shots/hits will be checked and if the shot/kill ratio over a specific ratio the player got banned automatically.

so there is a good way to sort the cheaters out.

to seeing forward to bf4 we will get even more tools to check about cheaster. so the new spectator mode let you check them ingame over cam and you can see how everyone is playing. so you can sort out if he is such a good player or a cheater.

Punkbuster will normally pick up these hacks once its updated ! you will not of course catch everyone punkbuster is like a antivirus once new bans come out and EVENBALANCE updates it system then the hack will be caught seen it so many times

but i still think alot of players still cant determine a good player and a hacker !

well it destroyes the whole experience if guys hack so ea and dice will do everything against hackers :D so i think it will always stay the same fight an amount of hackers and undetected hacks will stay the same ;)

but mr sordids it was always hard to decide wether a guy cheats or is only damn good ;) freecaming will make this a lot easier when you can see shaking guns and stuff like that on your own

and damn yeah the war against hacks and cheaters will continue :D give not up guys its our duty to make those bastardos hard lives ;)
